Digital Culture Hub

The Digital Culture Hub was a remote service that The Comfrey Project provided during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Digital Culture Hub provided a place where anyone was welcome to share their skills and knowledge through digital methods like videos, recordings, photography, blog posts etc.

It was developed at the start of the pandemic, with support from the Northumbria Police and Crime Commissioner’s COVID-19 emergency support grant.

The aim of this project was been to provide a suitable platform to continue facilitating the connections and sharing which were previously taking place within our weekly community Culture Hub sessions.

It had always been our intention to create a digital “window” into the diverse talents and experiences of our members and communities.  Capturing content created by individual members and as part of partnership work, we collected an exciting variety of insights and demonstrations!
