Warm Space

The Comfrey Project is now a “Warm Space

We’re pleased to tell you that The Comfrey Project has joined the Gateshead Council Warm Spaces network.

Warm Spaces are a local response to the cost-of-living crisis in the UK which is forcing local families to make tough decisions about what they can afford, such as heating versus eating!

Throughout the autumn/winter 2022/23 Gateshead people can come to a Warm Space to stay warm and enjoy a cuppa and a biscuit. At The Comfrey Project, visitors will also be able to join in in our communal lunches if they wish, and would be more than welcome to participate in the activities of the day.

Our Warm Space at the Windmill Hills Centre will be open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 10am to 3pm, and in partnership with the Crossings Community Group, also on Monday evenings 6pm to 8.30pm.

Find us at: Windmill Hills Centre, Chester Place, Gateshead, NE8 1QB (enter through Bensham road).
