We were delighted to participate in Gateshead Council’s Brighten The Day Programme again this half-term week, and welcome our little friends and their parents for two days full of fun and laughter in the garden!
Gladly we were blessed with the beautiful sunshine so we were able to make the best of the garden. Participants enjoyed a great range of activities, from exercise to making hanging flower baskets, and even an exciting science demonstration! We also enjoyed a healthy picnic lunch which included a salad hand-picked from the garden by the children themselves!
The families left with big smiles and lots of goodies -food, toys, creative and growing materials- to enjoy the rest of the week at home!
