It’s Volunteers Week 2021 and at the Comfrey it’s hard to put into words just how much our volunteers mean to us.
When we look back at the last year, it is not hard to see that in all the adversity and uncertainty of the Coronavirus crisis, volunteers have been a lifeline.
Over 60 people have volunteered with us, offering companionship to isolated people, helping to prepare and deliver essential items, organising and delivering remote projects, skill demonstrations and English classes, cooking for members of the community, keeping our garden and allotment sites going and so much more!
The endless kindness, generosity of spirit, and compassion that our volunteers show is incredibly moving and motivating on a daily basis.
We absolutely could not have done it without all of you. Thank you!
