Job Opportunity: Volunteer Coordinator!

We are looking for an experienced and confident administrator, keen to be part of a small, dynamic team and to work together to fulfil the aims of The Comfrey Project!

The salary will be £23,177.93 Pro Rata (NJC Scale 4) for 22.5 to 30 hours per week and is a fixed two-year post.

Working closely with our team of staff, Board of Trustees and volunteers you will help us realise our ambitious plans for the future, by ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly. You will help us to implement financial and administrative policies and systems, and health and safety controls.

You need to have a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to adapt quickly in the lively, busy environment of The Comfrey Project. Being able to multitask, while at the same time remaining highly organised, is essential.

You will often have to act as the first point of contact for The Comfrey Project so it is essential that you have great interpersonal and communication skills, and a friendly, patient and empathetic personality.

Please note that some out-of-work hours and lone working will be required from time to time.
