Welcome to Windmill Hills

At the beginning of November we moved to a lovely building in Gateshead, the Windmill Hills Centre.

Although we loved sharing with the Ouseburn Trust at Arch 6 in the Ouseburn Valley, we’ve been looking for a space of our own for some time.

Then, in the summer, we were offered a former school building in Gateshead: the Windmill Hills Centre.  We now have a permanent space with it’s own kitchen, garden, green space and workshop spaces.

We can also work with other organisations who use the Centre – including groups that work with young offenders, ex-Service people, youth with disabilities and many others.

As for the Comfrey Project, we’ve already started our winter activities sessions here, including soap making, Christmas card making and all the fixing and maintenance that a building needs.

We’ll be inviting you all to visit in the new year, but in the meantime, wish us well as we settle in.
